Description

Set up, configure, and maintain consumer electronic devices, with a focus on Bluetooth-enabled products. Perform device testing, validation, and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and connectivity layers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test frameworks and automation scripts using Python and PyTest.
• Support mobile automation testing using Appium and manage lab infrastructure including test nodes and network configurations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to enable efficient testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with QA and Development teams to reproduce issues, debug failures, and improve product quality.
• Maintain clear documentation of test setups, issues, and resolutions using Jira and GitHub.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manual and embedded device testing.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
• Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and debugging skills across systems and devices.
• Domain knowledge of consumer electronics, especially Bluetooth-enabled products.
• Proficiency with issue tracking and version control tools like Jira and GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting offshore teams and coordinating with leads on lab priorities.
