Description

You will test and validate cellular and mobile device features to ensure product quality prior to launch.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute device test plans to validate cellular feature capabilities including 5G, VoNR, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
• Analyze, document, and track device issues, collaborating with developers to confirm fixes.
• Run tests, document results, and re-test after patches to validate defect resolution.
• Communicate testing progress and generate technical reports for stakeholders.
• Coach the team on testing tools, result reporting, and process improvement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing cellular/mobile devices based on iOS operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP 5G SA/NSA and 4G LTE mobile technologies and architecture.
• Good understanding of 3GPP standards, including signaling call flows and Layers 1/2/3.
• Experience with cellular modem chipsets such as Qualcomm (QCOM), MediaTek (MTK), or Samsung (LSI).
• Proficiency with modem logging and analysis tools including Qxdm, Qpst, Xcal, and Xcap.
• Familiarity with SIM/eSIM design and provisioning flows.
• Basic programming skills, specifically in Python.
• Experience testing Wi-Fi and Passpoint configurations (HS2.0/802.1x/WPA3).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with VoWiFi and VoLTE optimization.
