Description

You will modernize the DevOps ecosystem by integrating technology stacks and harmonizing development practices to create a unified developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Migrate code repositories from on-premise Bitbucket to product-aligned mono-repos on GitHub.
• Transition Java build tools from Maven to Gradle and harmonize JavaScript build processes.
• Implement a common CI/CD toolchain using GitHub Actions and adopt JFrog Artifactory.
• Optimize code hygiene using tools like Moderne/Open Rewrite and enhance productivity via Backstage.
• Collaborate with global teams and support developers in adopting new DevOps toolchains within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in Java or JavaScript development.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and KornShell (ksh).
• Strong knowledge of build systems such as Gradle, Maven, or NPM.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and GitHub for source code management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Ability to gather and analyze metrics to improve DevOps processes.
