Description

Lead large-scale infrastructure transformation and design distributed systems for cloud automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure software and code for cloud automation within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify automation opportunities across the SDLC to improve delivery speed.
• Build, support, and document large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Promote DevOps and DevSecOps principles across the software engineering organization.
• Support and improve tools for continuous build, automated testing, and release management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years total professional experience, including 5+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in DevOps.
• Hands-on development experience in Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Expertise in AWS services: ECS (Fargate), EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong automation skills using Ansible and Bash scripting.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Atlassian products (Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube).
• Deep understanding of Git (branching, rebasing, merging) and Linux/Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/UDP, routing) and observability tools like Splunk.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of security, performance optimization, and CSS pre-processors like LESS or SASS.
