Description

Design and implement automation, CI/CD tools, and cloud infrastructure to support data platform operations. Own the release pipeline, define test and support processes, and architect time-bound sandboxes for PoC projects. Deploy cybersecurity measures, perform root cause analysis on production errors, and mentor developers on deployment best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement development, testing, automation, and CI/CD tools alongside cloud infrastructure.
• Architect and engineer time-bound sandboxes for PoC and innovation projects.
• Define test, release, update, and support processes for data platform infrastructure.
• Deploy and maintain cybersecurity measures, including vulnerability assessment and risk management tools like Snyk.
• Perform root cause analysis on production errors and mentor developers on deployment best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience automating infrastructure setup and application deployment.
• 5+ years configuring and using AWS components including EMR, EC2, Lambda, ECR, ELB, Route53, and S3.
• Proficiency with Python, Terraform, YAML, JSON, and TOML.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SnapLogic, and Alation.
• Experience setting up complex build pipelines with approvals, version tagging, and deployment plans.
• Competency with containers and orchestration using Docker or ECS.
• Experience with Snowsql and Flyway.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, or Solutions Architect.
• Snowflake SnowPro certification.
• Experience with Databricks and Databricks Terraform.
