Description

You will lead the development of an on-premises failover environment for clearing, settlement, and risk systems. You will build shared infrastructure services and automate disaster recovery strategies to meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build new shared infrastructure services including Kubernetes, Vault, S3, Kafka, and databases for on-premises failover.
• Establish connectivity between failover services and existing identity, DNS, Artifactory, Jenkins, and Splunk services.
• Automate data replication between cloud and failover environments for all applications.
• Design, code, test, and document solutions for complex technical challenges using an agile model.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automate disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and automation.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Vault, SonarQube, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Rancher, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Harness.
• Experience deploying to Kubernetes using Helm Charts and Harness.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Maven, and Gradle builds.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, YAML, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Splunk, LogicMonitor, SignalFX, and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of AWS services, specifically S3 replication and AWS Artifactory.
• Experience with certificate generation tools like Venafi.
• Background in cloud infrastructure modernization, virtualization, and DR/BC strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of setting up CI/CD pipelines for streaming Flink-based applications.
