Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IaC Engineer and Migration Engineer with strong proficiency in automation and cloud-native practices. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using declarative IaC tools, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across multicloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell scripts, and Ansible for provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Implement Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Bicep for Azure-native deployments.
• Build and optimize pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitLab for automated deployments.
• Integrate IaC workflows with GitOps principles and version control systems.
• Design and deploy infrastructure on Azure ensuring adherence to Well-Architected Framework.
• Manage configuration drift detection and remediation using scheduled workflows.
• Lead Azure Migrate projects and Azure Landing Zone designs for on-premises to Azure migrations involving VMs, databases, and applications.
• Modernize workloads by containerizing Java/.NET applications and deploying to AKS.
• Optimize legacy systems for cloud-native architectures using CAF best practices.
• Embed security checks in IaC pipelines using tools like Checkov or GitHub Advanced Security.
• Implement identity and access management using AAD, Managed Identities, and secure secrets via Azure Key Vault.
• Configure monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for deployed resources.
• Perform cost optimization and resource utilization analysis.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Bicep and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Experience with Ansible and configuration management.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with GitOps principles and version control systems.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
• Experience with Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including ARM, AKS, ACA, and App Services.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitLab workflows.
• Experience with security practices including policy enforcement, compliance scanning, and secrets management.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Managed Identities, and Azure Key Vault.
• Experience with configuration drift detection and remediation.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure migration and modernization.
• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot for automation and code generation.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Verified Modules (AVM) for Terraform/Bicep.
• Familiarity with container orchestration using AKS and GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of multicloud strategies and hybrid deployments.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zone designs.
• Knowledge of Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) best practices.
• Experience with containerizing Java/.NET applications and deploying them to AKS.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and workload modernization.
• Knowledge of Checkov or GitHub Advanced Security.
• Exposure to cost optimization and resource utilization analysis.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, or SC-401 Security.

Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
