Description

Lead the deployment and management of a scalable microservices platform hosted on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain highly scalable microservices platforms using Docker and AWS.
• Manage the full lifecycle from service code to infrastructure, logging, and system monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure as code using Ansible and CloudFormation.
• Debug complex issues in production environments and provide technical support.
• Drive improvements across tools, infrastructure, and development practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and microservices architectures.
• Strong command of Git, specifically via CLI.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Networking: VPCs, subnets, security groups, Network Firewalls, and WAFs.
• Solid grasp of general networking: IPs, CIDRs, DNS, HTTPS, and VPNs.
• Expertise with Linux systems and command-line operations.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Confluence.
