Description

You will manage observability infrastructure and automate deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD to automate deployment and testing of monitoring configurations.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including nodes, pods, and Helm chart configurations for applications.
• Monitor system health and resolve issues related to data collection, log ingestion, and Grafana dashboard performance.
• Implement OpenTelemetry SDKs and agents to enable distributed tracing and correlation across microservices.
• Collaborate with SAP teams to instrument applications and infrastructure for end-to-end observability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or observability-focused roles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes cluster management and Helm charts.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and ArgoCD for CI/CD automation.
• Strong Git skills for branching, merging, and repository management.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for data visualization and alerting.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation and scripting.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing and telemetry collection.
• Understanding of RBAC and access control for monitoring tools.
• Experience managing real-time data ingestion via Streaming Telemetry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience instrumenting microservices for full-stack observability.
• Ability to document complex configurations and provide technical training.
