Description

You will design, deploy, and manage containerized environments while automating infrastructure provisioning and owning cluster reliability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and prevent configuration drift using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins to deploy containers.
• Implement Kubernetes technologies including Network Policies, Service Mesh, and Ingress Controllers.
• Monitor containerized environments to optimize performance, utilization, and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, or Podman.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash/shell, Java, or NodeJS.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Hands-on experience developing Helm Charts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes Resource Types, including Cluster Roles, Services, and Deployments.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Solid understanding of Network security, encryption protocols, and identity management.
• Experience with operating systems including RHEL and Ubuntu.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CKA, CKS, or Certified Terraform Associate.
• Experience with compliance tools like Google Org Policy, Aquasec, or Wiz.
