Description

Architect, design, and automate cloud-native CI/CD workflows and distributed systems for a Reston, VA-based team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and automate cloud-native CI/CD workflows using Jenkins or GitLab.
• Design and deploy modern microservices and distributed systems using containers, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Provision infrastructure and deploy applications using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Support technical teams in implementing DevOps platforms using Trunk Based Development, Feature Toggles, and Blue-Green Deployment.
• Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle following Agile practices.

Required Skills

• 9-12 years of experience in software development and DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency in programming with Groovy, Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with container orchestration and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and internet principles.
• Experience implementing 12-factor app methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
