Description

You will manage infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and data streaming platforms to ensure system scalability and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, including gatekeeping production deployments and implementing Git branching strategies.
• Administer Kafka clusters and execute planned Kafka migrations.
• Manage AWS resources by scaling loads and implementing network policies and branch protection rules.
• Monitor system performance to resolve issues and implement workarounds that prevent application downtime.
• Solve scalability and performance bottlenecks within the system.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Expertise in Kafka administration and migration.
• Proficiency in Python or Spark for programming and scripting.
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
• Practical knowledge of Vertica and Snowflake databases.
• Ability to manage ETL processes.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex system issues.
