Description

You will own the deployment and maintenance of an on-premise Docker environment and container orchestration platform for a distributed system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub CI to ensure seamless integration.
• Build and manage the container orchestration platform, integrating it with CI/CD workflows for deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or Ansible to manage environment configurations.
• Monitor and optimize the Docker environment post-deployment, ensuring performance, reliability, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot deployment and integration issues while documenting processes and sharing knowledge with operations teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise with Docker and container orchestration technologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and GitHub CI.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience with scripting to support DevOps capabilities and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
