Description

Manage high availability and critical platforms in a Site Reliability or Production Engineering context.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate release and build processes using Jenkins for CI/CD implementation.
• Manage infrastructure and software monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK.
• Administer Unix/Linux environments and debug using Shell or PowerShell.
• Maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support Java Spring Boot environments, including webservers, application servers, and microservices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Production Engineering.
• Advanced expertise in Bash scripting and Unix/Linux administration.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Source Control Management (SCM) tools.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, specifically MySQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with web/middleware servers such as Nginx and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with repository management systems like Artifactory or Nexus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible.
• Knowledge of ITIL disciplines including Event, Incident, Problem, and Change management.
• Administration of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
