Description

You will manage the operational health, scalability, and maintainability of deployed software solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administration and development teams to design for long-term supportability and scalability.
• Evaluate risks and merits of version upgrades and coordinate the execution of patches.
• Monitor day-to-day operational health of deployed applications.
• Maintain system administration and knowledge base documentation.
• Advise development teams on performance improvement solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration and Analysis.
• Strong experience in analysis and tuning of RDBMS, specifically SQL Server and MSSQL.
• Deep JVM experience, specifically for setup and management on Linux and Azure.
• Experience deploying and working on Linux and Azure platforms.
• Proficiency with Pega security, certification management, and installation.
• Knowledge of source control using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with application and platform monitoring tools including PAL, PMI, and Pega Diagnostic Cloud (PDC).
• Hands-on experience with Windows, MQ Linux, MSSQL, and Command line.
• Experience managing web applications on Tomcat App Server.
• Advanced infrastructure-level troubleshooting skills covering JVMs, nodes, clusters, logs, traces, heap, memory, CPU, and throughput.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
