DevOps Engineer

You will manage infrastructure, automation, and development workflows to support application deployment and system stability.

Responsibilities

• Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, access control, and automated workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Configure Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, user permissions, and automation rules.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3 using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to resolve software defects.
• Create technical documentation and provide support for testing and implementation efforts.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in GitHub Enterprise Cloud administration and webhook integration.
• 8 years of experience in Atlassian Jira administration and project configuration.
• 8 years of experience with CI/CD models and automation tools including Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and OpenShift.
• 8 years of experience with Hyper-V server administration, including hardware, backup, and disaster recovery.
• 8 years of experience with App/Web servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat.
• 8 years of experience with scripting and build tools including Maven, Shell, Ruby, Perl, and Python.
• 8 years of experience with databases including Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres.
• 8 years of experience analyzing and resolving complex technical issues and supporting end users.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure management and cloud cost optimization.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Experience using Developer IDEs like Eclipse or IBM Rational Application Developer.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of experience working on large development projects using Agile methodology.
• Experience with Virtual Machine provisioning and de-provisioning in cloud or Hyper-V environments.
