Description

You will manage and scale production Kubernetes environments on AWS, migrating applications from on-premise bare metal to AWS EKS while supporting hybrid setups.

Responsibilities

• Provision, maintain, and deploy Kubernetes clusters in production using AWS EKS.
• Write Kubernetes manifest files and Dockerfiles for application deployment.
• Manage AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, and VPC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement industry-standard security and compliance practices for Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Participate in architectural discussions to design cloud-ready solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker architecture.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible.
• Practical knowledge of deploying and upgrading mission-critical applications on Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
