Description

You will manage the build, release, and environment lifecycle for distributed engineering software development teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Automate build processes and integrate them with Azure DevOps or GitHub CI systems.
• Maintain, monitor, and test product builds and packaging for Windows and Linux environments.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain build agents and DevOps infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve compilation, linker, and runtime failures in development and production environments.
• Maintain in-house testing tools, test result databases, and third-party dependencies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software build and release management.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Fortran programming environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Linux shell scripting, Windows batch, and Perl.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for continuous integration.
• Competency with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience using Git for configuration management.
• Familiarity with YAML and JSON.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Intel, and GCC compilers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Makefile, SCons, or CMake.
• MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
