Own the Maryland Health Connection system across cloud and traditional infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate technical processes using AWS cloud services.
• Implement and deploy CI/CD solutions to configure and maintain cloud technologies.
• Develop standards and codebases to monitor and alert cloud-based systems, meeting SLAs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate end-to-end application operations in AWS.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and debug complex enterprise-wide application issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, or supporting enterprise IT platforms and solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in a cloud environment, specifically AWS.
• 5+ years of experience in automated configuration and deployment using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or other IaC frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience in CI/CD, automation, and orchestration.
• 4+ years of experience with infrastructure design and application deployment in AWS.
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, EBS, ELB, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and RedShift.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and app/web server configuration (JBoss or Apache Tomcat).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with integration and acceptance testing alongside business teams.
