Description

You will manage and scale GitHub Enterprise environments and AWS infrastructure. You own the release pipeline, Kubernetes clusters, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage GitHub Enterprise Server and Cloud instances, supporting Git clients, Git-LFS, migrations, and branching strategies.
• Provision and maintain AWS infrastructure including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, and related services.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
• Automate infrastructure and workflows using Python, Bash, or Terraform.
• Troubleshoot API errors, web connectivity issues, and authentication flows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years total technology experience with 4+ years in core DevOps.
• 3+ years managing GitHub Enterprise Server and/or GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• 3+ years supporting Git clients, Git-LFS, migrations, and branching strategies.
• 3+ years working with GitHub Actions, Packages, Issues, and Projects.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, Route53, CloudWatch, EBS, EFS, AMI, IAM, MFA, ELB, Lambda, Auto-scaling, Security Groups).
• 3+ years working with Linux Server Operating Systems.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and containers.
• 2+ years of automation experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, C#, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• 1+ year of experience troubleshooting APIs and web connectivity.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Associate or Professional level certifications.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, GitHub Codespaces, or CoPilot.
• Integration experience using REST and GraphQL APIs (Jira, MS Teams, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Slack).
