Description

You will manage containerized environments and cloud infrastructure to support Java microservices.

Responsibilities

• Manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for microservices integration.
• Optimize database performance across MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle systems.
• Implement security best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Kafka.
• Experience with Java Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Loadbalancer, and RDS.
• Experience with Bazel, Skuba, and Guice.
• Strong knowledge of Git for version control.
• Competency in Test Driven Development, Design Driven Development, and Cloud Native Development.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of database design principles and query optimization.
