Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment environment for software projects.
• Design, setup, and manage the CI/CD infrastructure including servers, databases, networks, and storage in physical, virtual, and cloud-based environments.
• Rationalize technology by integrating and promoting internal tools and company standards across development teams.
• Write scripts and use appropriate tools to automate the development, delivery, and deployment processes.
• Implement the best possible development experience for software development teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure portability of the CI/CD environment by limiting adherence to the underlying infrastructure components.
• Monitor application performance and health to ensure optimal system functioning and early issue detection.
• Detect and eliminate performance bottlenecks to improve overall system efficiency and user experience.
• Improve system and software scalability and reliability to meet growing business and technical demands.
• Ensure continuous system and software uptime and availability to minimize service disruptions and downtime.
• Ensure the software is compliant with security standards and best practices for data protection.
• Support the deployment of the system and software in the environment of internal or external clients.
• Support and train the system and software development teams in using the CI/CD environment effectively.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure that the system/software architecture is easily integrable and releasable.
• Keep informed of the evolution of technologies through continuous technology watch and learning initiatives.

Experience Required: Software development, integration, and testing experience. Linux environment and shell scripts proficiency. Network and security knowledge. Version control system experience with Git. Containerization experience with Docker or Podman. Continuous Integration and delivery experience with Jenkins or GitLab-CI. Infrastructure as Code experience with Ansible, Puppet or Chef. Artifact Management experience with Artifactory or Nexus. Monitoring experience with Grafana, ElasticSearch or ActiveSearch. Scripting languages proficiency in Python, Groovy or Gradle
