Description

You will own the definition and implementation of DevOps solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms, focusing on Kubernetes orchestration and CI/CD pipeline automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement solution architectures using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, and Hashicorp Vault.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using templates, integrating SonarQube, Veracode, Twistlock, and UCD.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters with ingress controllers (nginx/nginx+) and deploy to AKS/EKS/OpenShift.
• Automate database migrations using Liquibase or Flyway and handle middleware deployments for WebSphere, JBoss, and IIS.
• Implement logging and monitoring stacks using Splunk, EFK, and ELK to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of overall experience, with 6-7 years specifically as a DevOps Engineer.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services, pipeline creation, and test plan configuration.
• Strong knowledge of OS environments: RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Experience with database systems including MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Couchbase.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, and Hashicorp Vault.
• Understanding of cloud-native and traditional application development (Springboot, ReactJS, Node.js, .NET Core).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with immutable infrastructure and infrastructure provisioning.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift and Azure Files/Synapse solutions.
