Description

Own the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment environment for software projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, setup, and manage CI/CD infrastructure including servers, databases, networks, and storage across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Automate development, delivery, and deployment processes using scripts and appropriate tools to improve system efficiency and user experience.
• Monitor application performance and health to detect bottlenecks, ensure optimal system functioning, and maintain continuous uptime.
• Ensure software compliance with security standards and best practices for data protection while supporting deployment for internal or external clients.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure system architecture is easily integrable and releasable, and support development teams in using the CI/CD environment effectively.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab-CI.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in Linux environment and shell scripting.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and artifact management (Artifactory or Nexus).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Gradle.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, ElasticSearch, or ActiveSearch.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Podman containerization and network security.
• Agile methodology experience and ability to work with remote engineering teams.
