Description

Manage on-premise Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure and lead DevOps operations in Bedminster, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain Red Hat OpenShift on bare metal and VMware, ensuring high availability and node management.
• Administer OpenShift services including Operators, OpenShift Data Foundation, Pipelines, Image Registry, and Serverless.
• Manage on-premise Elasticsearch clusters, handling deployment, index management, cross-cluster replication, and troubleshooting.
• Build and administer Apache/Confluent Kafka messaging platforms and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Helm while managing version control, branching, and RBAC.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience provisioning and deploying containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL database administration.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with A10 Networks Load Balancing.
• Skill in writing Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifests, and Dockerfiles.
• Experience with scripting in Bash or Python and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem, including YARN, HDFS, HBase, ZooKeeper, Spark, and Hive.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage monitoring stacks using Grafana, Prometheus, FluentD, or FluentBit.
