Description

You will manage and automate infrastructure for high-scale, event-based distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build custom command line tooling to automate infrastructure decommissioning activities.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Implement CI/CD as code within a GitHub environment.
• Monitor large-scale distributed systems using OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Maintain containerized environments and handle load balancing for distributed services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Golang for coding beyond simple scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Experience managing Cassandra, Postgres, and Kafka at the infrastructure level.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows in GitHub.
• Experience with monitoring tools including OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Background in managing high-scale, event-based distributed systems.
