Description
Lead the migration to infrastructure as code across Windows, Linux, storage, and database platforms. Architect and expand RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and Kubernetes orchestration platforms. Design and build fault-tolerant private cloud infrastructure using on-premise and Azure technologies. Automate CI/CD pipelines to incorporate security best practices and reduce operational workload. Troubleshoot application pipelines and identify performance issues within the platform.
Responsibilities
- Drive the migration to infrastructure as code across Windows, Linux, storage, and database platforms.
- Architect and expand RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
- Design and build fault-tolerant private cloud infrastructure using on-premise and Azure technologies.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines to incorporate security best practices and reduce operational workload.
- Troubleshoot application pipelines and identify performance issues within the platform.
Required Skills
- 10 years of experience in a lead role within large containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- 4 years of Linux administration experience, specifically with RedHat or equivalent distributions.
- 3 years of Windows Server administration or application support experience.
- 2 years of experience deploying container workloads on Kubernetes (on-prem or public cloud).
- Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes image management, registry operations, and core functioning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8 years of experience working in IT or operations.
- Experience with MySQL and Linux systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-native tools including Grafana, Prometheus, Mongo, and Postgres.
- 2 years of experience with Ansible for automating server, VM, and network components.
- 2 years of experience managing Kubernetes ingress using NGINX, Istio, and Calico network policies.
