Description

You own the automation and deployment lifecycle for critical infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and test Helm Charts, ArgoCD applications, and Terraform configurations.
• Develop scripts and playbooks to automate software and COTS application package updates.
• Build, deploy, and test software packages in containerized environments including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux/Unix servers and maintain TCP/IP networking configurations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems or software engineering roles.
• 10+ years scripting in Python or Bash.
• Strong experience with Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and ArgoCD.
• Extensive experience administering Linux/Unix servers.
• Deep understanding of software build processes and automation principles.
• Experience deploying and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years working with virtualization technologies such as ESXi or OpenStack.
• Prior experience with large-scale software deployment in satellite systems.
