Description

You will manage and scale cloud and on-premise infrastructure to support engineering and product requirements. You will design infrastructure solutions that balance operational constraints with architecture guidelines, implement network connectivity, and automate recurring tasks to improve deployment velocity. You will resolve escalated incidents, perform root cause analysis, and partner with engineering teams to build software tolerance for infrastructure failures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, monitoring systems, and network connectivity.
• Automate recurring tasks to improve deployment velocity and system quality.
• Resolve escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Enforce security policies and technical guidelines to protect customer data.
• Partner with engineering teams to build software tolerance for infrastructure failures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working in AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Networking, Load Balancers).
• 4+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
• Proven track record deploying and maintaining Ubuntu server systems on-premise and in the cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and HELM.
• Strong knowledge of the ELK stack, including index management and ES Cluster optimization.
• Proficiency with Git or Bitbucket for source code management.
• Ability to use scripting to automate infrastructure and operational processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
