Description

You will own the stability, monitoring, and infrastructure automation for global enterprise platforms on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Manage application availability, latency, system health, and uptime reporting for production environments.
• Develop configuration scripts for Amazon hosted infrastructure and manage capacity planning.
• Determine alert standards for production environments and implement logging and indexing strategies.
• Build reporting dashboards to provide visibility into cost and stability metrics.
• Coordinate with DevOps and Problem Management teams on escalations and outages.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 4+ years of experience running production systems on AWS.
• Proficiency with AWS services: DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, EC2, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Datadog for site and log monitoring.
• Strong understanding of Serverless architectures and container monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, IIS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Knowledge of automated build pipelines, continuous integration, and source control (git/svn).

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or other AWS certifications.
