Description

You will own the continuous delivery pipeline and zero-downtime deployment processes for a medical records platform. You will design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure and implement self-service tools to enhance developer productivity. Proactively analyzing system health and executing long-term fixes from on-call rotation is core to this role.

Responsibilities

• Shepherd zero-downtime deployment processes through continuous delivery practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement and manage predictive alerting platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDog.
• Troubleshoot large-scale production issues involving JVM applications, NoSQL, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate on microservices architecture and upgrade core software stacks including Java and Gradle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Expertise in managing Unix container ecosystems: Docker, EKS, Fargate, ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code techniques for cloud platforms (AWS, GCE, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, and DataDog.
• Solid programming and scripting fundamentals, specifically with Python.
• Experience with Java, Gradle, and Scala in a microservices environment.
• Knowledge of service discovery, service registry, CDN technologies, and network analysis tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience improving operational maturity through systematic root cause analysis.
• Background in executing and analyzing performance tests for high-availability services.
