Description

Manage and scale data-intensive applications and distributed systems within an agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, APIs, and big data applications.
• Build and maintain configuration management, automation tools, deployment strategies, and monitoring tools.
• Improve continuous delivery and DevOps processes to ensure platform resilience and scalability.
• Support applications throughout the entire SDLC from design to decommission.
• Participate in system analysis, design walkthroughs, code reviews, and defect triage.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience designing and supporting distributed, data-intensive systems at scale.
• 6+ years of relational database delivery.
• 3+ years of NoSQL and Big Data delivery.
• 7+ years of experience working within the SDLC.
• 4+ years of development with Big Data stacks including Hadoop, MapR, Talend, Pig Scripting, HBase, Hive, and Spark.
• 4+ years of experience in Agile delivery.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps automation tools such as Oozie and Python.
• Experience managing DevOps teams of 5-10 headcount in onshore-offshore models.
• Experience with Data as a Service and Container as a Service models.
• Proficiency in incident ticket tracking via ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering large-scale Data Platforms.
