Description

You will manage infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines within an AWS environment. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, including gatekeeping production deployments.
• Develop and implement Git branching strategies, branch protection rules, and network policies.
• Manage Kafka administration and plan/implement Kafka migrations.
• Scale AWS resources and manage load to ensure system stability.
• Monitor systems and implement alerting to provide quick resolutions to avoid downtime.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline management and Git branching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Kafka administration and migration experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Spark for programming and scripting.
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
• Working knowledge of Vertica and Snowflake databases.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to lead system improvements.
