Description

You will manage and scale core infrastructure for distributed services, owning deployments, monitoring, and production stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployments, monitoring, and alerting for distributed services.
• Mitigate production issues and resolve outages to maintain system stability.
• Maintain core infrastructure including NoSQL data stores, caching layers, and queuing systems.
• Optimize low-latency and high-throughput systems at scale.
• Drive an automation-first approach using configuration management tools.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of industry experience in DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem, including EC2, ELBs, S3, OpsWorks, and Route53.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
• Experience managing NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, HBase, or Couchbase.
• Experience with caching layers including Aerospike or Redis/ElastiCache.
• Experience with queuing infrastructure such as Kafka or RMQ.
• Knowledge of Java stack deployments, including JVM tuning, GC tuning, and VM sizing.
