Description

You will support the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, focusing on EKS, while also supporting non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure on-premise and portable equipment.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment processes and ensure service reliability and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolving issues as necessary.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to maintain high availability and performance.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with application, container, and OS deployment, scaling, and management.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and deployment tools.
• Current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security clearance with CI Polygraph and U.S. Citizenship.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (e.g., Security+).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and Terraform.
