Description

You will own the automation and operational stability of data pipelines and deployment systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end data ingestion into Hadoop data lakes and manage HDFS log storage.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy scripts for Java and Python projects.
• Automate build and deployment processes, scripting unattended tasks in Python.
• Manage code lifecycle via GitHub, handling branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Optimize Hive table performance and participate in Agile Scrum meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with Java and Python for scripting and development.
• Expertise in Jenkins automation, including Groovy scripting.
• Strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem and data lake operations.
• Experience implementing CI/CD using Jenkins pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to write Unix scripts for system diagnostics.
• Experience managing source control via GitHub.
