Description

You will design and maintain a CI/CD platform for internal engineering teams, managing releases from POC through production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Infrastructure-as-Code design thinking across the engineering organization.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Design systems to minimize software engineer effort regarding security, fault tolerance, scalability, and monitoring.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters, service meshes, API gateways, and data services.
• Support deployments across bare-metal Hyper-V, private cloud clusters, and public clouds.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in DevOps, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, and OCI platforms.
• Proficiency with IaC and portable provisioning using Terraform, Packer, Ansible, or SaltStack.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or Swarm).
• Knowledge of Istio service mesh and Helm Charts.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
• Competency in setting up API gateways, Cassandra, Spark, Kafka, Redis, or MSSQLServer.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including TFS, Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, and SonarQube.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, CLI, and scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Direct customer contact experience such as tech support or customer service.
