Description

Lead the transition from monolithic architecture to a containerized, cloud-native environment in Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage a greenfield Kubernetes environment in Azure.
• Containerize existing monolithic Python applications for Kubernetes deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure as code tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments.
• Integrate and manage MySQL databases within the Kubernetes environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Hands-on experience setting up greenfield Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Proven experience containerizing Python-based monolithic applications.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Experience managing MySQL databases within Kubernetes.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and Shell.
