Good to Have Skills: Experience with ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, NoSQL and RDBMS management, queuing systems like RabbitMQ, Big data platforms like Hadoop, Shell scripting, Perl programming, Puppet automation, networking protocols knowledge, security architectures, identity and access management principles, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, infrastructure as code templates, and FOSS tools for monitoring and capacity planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment, configuration, and testing processes.
• Own Helpshift production services and ensure complete monitoring coverage, troubleshoot and fix production issues.
• Build a seamless zero-downtime process to upgrade core infrastructure including ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code templates for provisioning and configuring cloud resources securely.
• Monitor and respond to production incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation activities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices for continuous improvement.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure and applications through DevSecOps practices.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance for professional development.

Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering with expertise in UNIX-like operating systems, containerization technologies, cloud computing platforms, and automation tools
