Description

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, own Helpshift production services, and ensure zero-downtime infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, configuration, and testing.
• Own Helpshift production services, ensuring complete monitoring coverage and resolving production issues.
• Build seamless zero-downtime processes to upgrade core infrastructure including ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle through regular assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance for professional development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering.
• Expertise in UNIX-like operating systems and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with containerization: Kubernetes, Docker.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, and Big Data platforms like Hadoop.
• Familiarity with security architectures, penetration testing, and FOSS monitoring tools.
