Description

You will build and deploy data analytics and machine learning applications while developing custom software to improve engineering operational efficiency and governance integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to develop scalable data and machine learning systems.
• Design and implement frameworks and tools to streamline the product development process.
• Develop and maintain automation tools for application environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement source code management practices, including branching strategies.
• Manage application deployments and act as a gatekeeper to the production environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of OOP-based software engineering experience, preferably with Python.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• 5+ years of experience testing, packaging, and deploying Python applications.
• 5+ years of experience creating and managing Kubernetes deployments manually and using Helm.
• 2+ years of experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Expertise with package and deployment tools including pip, conda, maven, npm, docker, and helm.
• Expertise in deployment strategies such as Rolling, Blue-Green, Canary, and A/B Testing.
• Experience managing fully remote development environments within Kubernetes across multiple clusters.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in designing solutions using established design patterns.
