Description

You will drive the scalability and reliability of cloud applications while designing systems from scratch with a focus on security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop various systems focusing on scalability, security, and compliance.
• Develop deployment strategies and build configuration management systems.
• Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing guidance on day-to-day activities.
• Work directly with clients, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.
• Own project implementations to ensure delivery within scope and timelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting complex production systems with multi-tier application stacks.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and cloud service providers, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in automating cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Shell scripting, AWS Lambda, and Event Bridge.
• Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and managing immutable infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or TeamCity.
• Hands-on experience writing and managing Ansible Playbooks.
• Proficiency with GitHub Enterprise or similar version control systems.
• Experience creating pipelines utilizing ELK/OTel for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Knowledge of cloud financial management strategies and high availability/disaster recovery setup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing solutions for SaaS, AI, Data Ops, or highly compliant enterprise architectures.
