Description

You will own infrastructure reliability and automation across Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions on GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated compilation, assembly, and testing of containerized and non-containerized components.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high availability and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in at least two software languages: Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Deep understanding of Google product technology and underlying architectures for root cause diagnosis.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with Agile, DevOps, and secure coding practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
