Description

You will manage cloud infrastructures and oversee DevOps work streams to solve information processing problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage public and private cloud infrastructures.
• Analyze system specifications and translate technical strategies for architecting on-premises infrastructure.
• Supervise the development of DevOps work streams and implement design patterns.
• Manage version control through branching, merging strategies, and repository migrations.
• Administer Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Jira Service Desk.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in Cloud Computing, Build and Release, DevOps, and Linux Administration.
• 10 years of experience using GIT to synchronize with chef-repo and manage as source code.
• 5 years of experience with version control tools including Subversion and Git branching/merging.
• 5 years of experience migrating projects from Subversion to GitHub Enterprise.
• 3 years of experience providing subject matter expertise on system architectures.
• 3 years of experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile, Waterfall, and TDD.
• 3 years of experience implementing and administering JIRA, Confluence, and Jira Service Desk.
• Proficiency in Shell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, C, and HTML.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and Linux/Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SCRUM and Iteration methodologies.
• Experience converting outdated technologies to new systems.
