Description

You will manage database administration, deployment pipelines, and automation workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer PostgreSQL databases, focusing on replication, backup strategies, and performance tuning.
• Deploy PERN stack applications across cloud or on-premises environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Ansible.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration.
• Experience with PERN stack application deployment.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Automation experience with Ansible.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Background in IT infrastructure, DevSecOps, or SRE roles.
• Linux administration (Ubuntu or RHEL) and network security hardening.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or IAM tools like Entra ID and Okta.
