Description

Manage AWS infrastructure, cloud security, and automation for production environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and Lambda.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot outages, optimize resource utilization, and manage cost-efficiency initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years in AWS environments.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS core services and IAM.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and incident response.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Security Specialty) or Security+.
