Description

Manage infrastructure automation, cloud adoption, and production release cycles within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate system builds, configuration, and application installation to eliminate manual tasks.
• Initiate infrastructure setup for new applications and drive AWS cloud adoption.
• Coordinate production releases, including detailed implementation and backout plans.
• Execute software builds and deployments while managing change and incident tickets.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve impediments and ensure environment stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency in Terraform, specifically module development and script creation.
• Extensive experience with AWS services: API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with YAML and build tools such as Maven, ANT, or Gradle.
• Experience with artifact repositories including SVN, Git, and Nexus.
• Ability to manage deployments using AWS CodePipeline.
