Description

You will manage large-scale batch processing migrations and automate deployment workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed migration plans and manage environment setup for lower environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Autosys batch scheduling jobs, resolving failures quickly.
• Perform UAT and production parallel tests to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with functional SMEs to mitigate migration risks through pre-mortem analysis.
• Build custom tools and utilities to support migration efforts and automation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software experience with a focus on DevOps or migration projects.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration and shell, Perl, or Python scripting.
• Hands-on development experience in Java, Python, or Core Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, or SVN.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for build failures, testing issues, and deployment errors.
• Experience with batch scheduling systems such as Autosys, Control-M, or Cron.
• Familiarity with version control, change management, and SDLC processes.
• Ability to manage environment setup, software deployment, and test automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as Sybase.
