Job Description:
Verisk Analytics is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience across application development, infrastructure, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Python, Bamboo, and Octopus Deploy, with experience automating software delivery pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Octopus Deploy.
Develop Python scripts to automate operational tasks, infrastructure processes, and application workflows.
Configure, manage, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.
Implement DevOps best practices for automation, monitoring, scalability, security, and performance.
Support application releases and ensure consistent, reliable deployments across environments.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve development, testing, and production deployment workflows.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of DevOps engineering experience.
Strong understanding of both application development and infrastructure operations.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Strong proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
Practical experience with Bamboo for CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience with Octopus Deploy for automated application deployments.
Previous experience working within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) industry.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work onsite in Holmdel, NJ, two days per week.
Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with AWS, Python, and Bamboo. Octopus Deploy experience is also expected
