Description

You will serve as a Migration Subject Matter Expert, managing large-scale migrations and batch processing transitions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute large-scale migrations and batch processing transitions with functional SMEs.
• Set up lower environments and deploy software using CI/CD tools.
• Execute UAT and production parallel tests, analyzing results and troubleshooting discrepancies.
• Manage and configure Autosys instances and Procmon master to optimize batch processing workflows.
• Develop custom utilities and automation scripts to streamline migration processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and DevOps.
• Hands-on software development experience in Core Java or Python.
• Strong Unix/Linux expertise, including Perl/shell scripting and system administration.
• Experience with Autosys batch scheduling, including job creation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Proven track record of migrating batch processing systems or similar large-scale projects.
• Experience executing environment setups, software deployments, and parallel testing.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot build failures, deployment errors, and testing issues.
• Understanding of IT change management processes and risk mitigation.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
